Forget Chasing Millions, Find Your Passion: Richard Branson's Success Tips

Millionaire entrepreneur Richard Branson offers a surprising secret to his success: he doesn't see himself as a businessman!

Key Takeaways

  • Passion over profit: Branson believes focusing on creating things you're proud of, not just making money, leads to a more fulfilling career.

  • Embrace calculated risks: Don't let fear of failure hold you back! Take well-considered chances to pursue innovative ideas.

  • Impact matters: Focus on building businesses that make a positive difference in people's lives. This will fuel your drive and potentially lead to financial rewards too.

Why This Matters: This generation prioritizes purpose and meaning in their work. Branson's advice challenges the traditional view of success and encourages millennials to pursue their passions, even if it means taking risks and prioritizing impact over immediate financial gain.

Struggling with Small Talk? Here's How to Actually Connect with Anyone

Ever feel stuck in a boring conversation? Introverts, this one's for you! Here are some tips to turn those awkward chats into interesting connections.

  • Be a master listener: People love talking about themselves. Ask questions and listen actively – it'll make them feel good and want to talk to you more.

  • Mirror, mirror on the wall: Subtly mimic the other person's energy and speech patterns (without being creepy!). This builds rapport and makes them feel understood.

  • Ditch the boring questions: Instead of "What do you do?" ask interesting, open-ended questions to spark a deeper conversation.

  • Stay positive: Avoid gossip and negativity. People want to be around those who uplift them.

  • Lost for words? If the conversation stalls, repeat the last three words they said as a question. It shows you're listening and buys you time to think.

  • Compliment them genuinely: Everyone appreciates a sincere compliment. It boosts their mood and makes them like you more.

  • Be honest, be you: Honesty builds trust. Don't be afraid to be your authentic self, even if it's a bit uncomfortable.

Why This Matters: Millennials crave genuine connections and value building meaningful relationships. These tips can help you overcome social anxieties and have more fulfilling conversations with anyone you meet.

ICYMI: The rap beef between Drake & Kendrick has exploded across the internet after several rappers (Future, Rick Ross, Kanye, The Weeknd) and Metro Boomin’ (producer) all came for Drake.

Metro Boomin’ released a diss instrumental and told fans, whoever can make the best diss track gets a free beat, inciting a viral challenge. The instrumental samples another song that was created as a parody called “BBL Drizzy.” Duolingo’s mascot has since gotten involved. (see below)

Since the release of Kendrick Lamar’s “Euphoria” diss track, New Ho King in Toronto has been flooded with 5 star reviews and and fans there for the “Kendrick special.”

In an unfortunate turn of events, it was reported a security guard was shot outside Drake’s Bridle Path mansion yesterday. It’s currently unknown if the violence is related to the rap beef.
