Ditch College? Gen Z Chooses Trade Schools for Entrepreneurship and Security
College isn't the only path to success anymore! Here's why Gen Z is increasingly turning to trade schools:
Be Your Own Boss: Trade schools offer a faster and cheaper way to become your own entrepreneur. You can skip the student loan debt and build your own business from the ground up.
AI-Proof Careers: Technology is changing fast, but there will always be a need for skilled workers in trades like construction, mechanics, and culinary arts.
Hands-on Learning: Trade schools focus on practical skills you can use on the job right away. This is ideal for Gen Z learners who crave a more hands-on approach to education.
Why This Matters: This trend isn't just for Gen Z! Millennials facing mounting student loan debt or a desire for a career change can also benefit from considering trade schools. With a focus on in-demand skills and quicker job placement, trade schools offer a valuable alternative path to a successful career.

🌐 AROUND THE INTERWEBS
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made a splash in Nigeria this past weekend.
The trip was focused on the Invictus Games, a project led by Harry that is an international multi-sport event for wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, both serving and veterans. They were also there to promote mental health and empower young women.
Meghan was also honoured by three African Kings in a naming ceremony - His Eminence Engr Eberechukwu Oji, Eze Aro of Ancient Arochukwu Kingdom, Igwe Alfred Achebe, the Obi of Onitsha and Great Olu Of Warri Kingdom - Meghan was honoured as a Nigerian princess ‘Ada Mazi.’ A pretty big deal considering it is ‘unprecedented’ for Kings to leave there palaces, and there were three in attendance.
This comes after Meghan revealed she is 43% Nigerian in an ancestry DNA test.
Outside of the institution, Harry and Meghan keep showing them how it should be done. This wasn’t a Royal tour, it was something much much better. It was a true collaboration and a homecoming. Maybe at some point #HarryandMeghan haters will get it. You can’t break them. Your… x.com/i/web/status/1…

How does it feel to be the influencer possibly responsible for being the straw that broke the camels back, and now Hollywood is crumbling?
Ask @hayleebaylee who posted a TikTok at the Met Gala with a Marie Antoinette sound saying “Let them eat cake.”
That video went viral for all the wrong reasons sending the internet into a tailspin and triggering #Blockout2024 - a viral trend to block celebrities on social media.
Kim Kardashian has reportedly already lost 9 million followers since the start. And no celebrity is off limits - We’re looking at you Swifties!
The tone deaf video exasperated an already existing frustration the general public has had with celebrity culture as of late. Seems people don’t exactly respect flaunting of excessive wealth while we’re in a cost of living crisis worldwide. 🤷♀️
